Thursday 26th July and Audrey Cooper

” I attended the funeral of Audrey Cooper today.  Audrey died at 67, far too young for a person who had so much giving in her.

Audrey was one of those people who makes up the glue that holds a rural community together.  Not the leader or the big wig, but the person who was always there helping.  She seemed to be devoted to her late Husband Frank and when he past a way not so long ago we were sad for her, especially my wife Roseann, who always has a good word for them both.

Audrey was a local carer.  employed to do the home help type work – but in fact gave everyone so much more.  It was a pleasure to see so many at her funeral to pay the huge respects she deserved.

She will be missed.
