Councillor Paul Johnston welcomed news that recent problems of Vandalism in Tarves around both the School and at a nearby Pharmacy have largely been resolved after police enquiries. It is understood that Grampian Police have charged or warned individuals in the incidents and are thought to be younger community members.
“The issue of vandalism arises periodically and is in this case is not related to anything more that local teenagers going beyond acceptable behaviour. I am glad that we can move on. Tarves generally has very low crime and vandalism and this quick resolution illustrates the point well.” said Paul
It had been suggested that vandalism at Tarves Pharmacy had other motives. Councillor Paul Johnston understands this is unrelated to any other local dispute or issue and purely one of youth vandalism now resolved by Grampian Police.
